The fixed costs
The Hawaii Non-Resident CCW course is a one-time fee. A shooting proficiency session typically runs $125–$200 depending on the range. Notarization of your instructor affidavits may add a small fee. If HRA membership is relevant to your eligibility, annual dues are modest.
HPD's LTC application fee is $150, non-refundable and currently cash only. Registering a firearm brought from out of state at HPD carries a $45 background check fee ($46.35 by card). One passport-sized photo runs $15–$25.

Optional concierge support
Concierge service is optional but recommended for out-of-state applicants who don't have local relationships with a Hawaii county's licensing division. Our concierge package covers packet review, per-county checklist matching, cover-letter drafting, appointment scheduling, and status follow-up until issuance.
The math is simple: a returned packet adds 60+ days and can require re-doing your shooting test if the delay pushes it outside Honolulu's 90-day window. Concierge pays for itself the first time it prevents that.
Ongoing costs
Permits are renewed on a 1–4 year cadence depending on county. Confirm renewal requirements with your county; the statutory renewal fee is $50.
If you carry a different handgun than the one you qualified with, budget a fresh qualification session before your next renewal so the attestation matches your carry gun on file.
Where the bundles save money
